How to turn ps4 off after download

I usually turn my router/modem off at night but when I leave the PS4 in stand by mode, it doesn't reconnect at all once the router/modem is back on unless I turn the ps4 completely off and on again. All of them are ticked OFF. Disconnect the power cable of your PS4 console from the outlet and leave it for a couple of seconds. Step 3.
