How to turn ps4 off after download

You could leave the console semi-off and would turn itsef completely off when finished, saving energy. I hope this gets added one day. I usually turn my router/modem off at night but when I leave the PS4 in stand by mode, it doesn't reconnect at all once the router/modem is back on unless I turn the ps4 completely off and on again. I have many games on my PS4 HDD that I still want on here, but I don't want them to auto updating. There's an option in Settings System Automatic Downloads that has check boxes. All of them are ticked OFF. I hope this gets added one day. EDIT: At least this is the case with the Xbox Press the Power button for about 7 seconds until your PS4 console is turned off completely. Step 2. Disconnect the power cable of your PS4 console from the outlet and leave it for a couple of seconds. Step 3. Check if the power port is clogging, and then you can use another power cable to check if it is damaged.
